I should have known …
I should have known (and done) this exercise. After 30k in a 50 k trail my arms started to hurt really badly. I sill start doing more exercises like this one and yes… of course in addition to lots of running.

Hey, I dont get why some people here think they must post nasty comments. KaseyAkira: It was never suggested that INSTEAD of running you should do this excercise. I find it a great way to add some muscle and endurance to my regular running. And yes, many pro-athlets do have muscle/stretch excercises in addition to their “regular” workouts. To your hollywood comparisson: I think Rocky goes jogging to get fit for his fights..doesnt make sense for you, does it?

And lets not forget Karate Kid and his slow-motion picturesque katas that can beat an athlete practicing explosive skills training. thats because his opponent has never encountered a man who holds up one leg, and yet, KICKS with the other!
